The «Grotesques» are short stories, which are performed in two or threes. The title of the series refers to the main feature of the stories: Grotesque situations of human cohabitation are depicted, which trigger ambivalent feelings in the audience. The “Grotesques” are socio-psychological short studies, which express the balance of power in interpersonal relationships. The motives of the protagonists – the need for love, the fear of emotional helplessness and general existential fears – lead to a misuse in the stories. The protagonists are sometimes socially-disadvantaged people, whose actions are determined by their social affiliation.
